Setting-Up Task Scheduler for SmartBackup

SmartBackup for Smartsheet is a purpose-built backup, archive, and export solution for Smartsheet users. SmartBackup can be run manually at any time, or it can be setup to run on a recurring basis, every day, certain days of the week, weekly, monthly, or annually using a built-in Windows tool called Task Scheduler.


Task Scheduler allows you to automate many tasks on Windows 10, and in this guide, we will show you the steps to create and schedule a recurring task for SmartBackup from AcuWorkflow. This will allow SmartBackup to run automatically on your computer, creating backups, archives, and exports of your critical sheets on a daily, weekly, monthly etc. basis.
